with thrilling new looks and and
new integrated features from
different service providers,
presented in a manner that
offers extensive utility and
visual simplicity. Web 2.0 is
not a standard, but rather a new
concept of building sites that
engage the user and and make the
web more interactive and more
democratic

John Koenig, President,
Riseforth
Inc
John Koenig is President of
Riseforth, Inc., a consulting
company located in Half Moon
Bay, California with clients
throughout the world.
John primarily advises
electronics and software
companies on business
development, sales, marketing
and product development.
His experience includes 7 years
with General Electric in
engineering and sales management
and executive positions at
companies in the field of
telephony, electronic design and
content delivery.
His present interests are open
source, software-as-a-service
and appliances. A frequent
writer and speaker, he received
his B.S. from University of San
Francisco and his J.D. from
University of California,
Hastings. He is a member of IEEE
and the California Bar
Association.

Satish Dharmaraj, Co-Founder &
CEO,
Zimbra.com
Prior to founding Zimbra, Satish
was VP of the Messaging Product
Division at Openwave Systems,
responsible for the email,
unified messaging, voicemail,
and instant messaging product
lines. Satish managed the
engineering and product
management teams which had over
200 people and a $45 million
budget. While at Openwave,
Satish's division deployed 180
million mailboxes worldwide with
the largest deployments being 20
million mailboxes at JPhone and
KDDI in Japan.
Satish previously
was part of the founding team at
the unified messaging company
Onebox, where he led engineering
and network operations, and was
instrumental in the sale of
Onebox to Phone.com for $850
million. Prior to Onebox, Satish
was at Sun Microsystems'
JavaSoft Division where he was
responsible for the conception,
design and implementation of
Java Server Pages (JSPs); in
addition, he led the team that
designed and implemented the
Java Servlet API.
Satish
previously held several
positions at IBM and Transarc
Corporations. Satish has BS and
MS degrees in Computer Sciences
and an executive management
degree from Harvard Business
School.

Robert Seidl, Co-Founder & CTO,
Genius
Incorporated
As
CTO of Genius Incorporated,
Seidl is the driving force
behind the technology
development and “Genius” product
innovation.
After founding a successful
software company in the
Netherlands , Seidl launched his
Silicon Valley career as an
engineer at Apple. In 1994,
Seidl founded and became CEO of
Ceneca Software, the developer
of PageMill, the first visual
web page editor, and SiteMill, a
website management product.
Adobe acquired Ceneca and
PageMill became a runaway
success.
Seidl's passion for creating
cutting-edge software that is
easy to use by all, led him to
start two more companies: Canoma
(acquired by Metacreations), a
developer of ground-breaking
photogrammetry 3D rendering
software for graphic artists,
and RTVS, a real-time
video-processing software
company for military and medical
applications.
Seidl holds undergraduate and
masters degrees in computer
science from the Delft
University of Technology, in the
Netherlands .

Seth Sternberg, Founder & CEO,
Meebo
Seth is the Biz Guy at meebo,
which he founded along with
Sandy and Elaine in the summer
of '05. Before meebo, Seth
worked at IBM in the M&A group.
Seth majored in Political
Science at Yale and attended
Stanford Business School, before
leaving for meebo. Seth flies
airplanes (less than he'd like
to ... but it's expensive!),
rides motorcycles, and
rollerblades.
