ANNUAL EVENT FOCUS:
The SIPA Annual Event will have panel discussions around technology innovation and social entrepreneurship
that combines the passion of innovative technology versus the passion of a social mission with an image
of business-like discipline, innovation, and determination for achieving the goal.
The Technology Panel will focus on two panels Open Source and Semiconductor Industry Forecast. On one hand,technology has revolutionized our world. Yet its benefits have not reached everyone. Social entrepreneurship and volunteerism offer a wonderful opportunity to do this. The Social Entrepreneurship Panel will focus on a presentation by John Wood on "Life After Sofware", describing his non-profit
social venture, after working with Microsoft for 9 years.
With these key elements in mind, SIPA Annual Event 2004 is a full-day event focused on technology, business, social and career opportunities, designed to provide valuable information from industry veterans.
