Join SIPA What does a SIPA membership buy you? SIPA Events: Between 6-8 SIPA events are held each year. Members are allowed to attend these meetings free of cost. Non-members are charged an entry fee of $5.00. SIPA meetings are usually addressed by succesful entrepreuners, businessmen, Indian bureacrats and professionals. These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals among other things. SIPA Newsletter: A newsletter is mailed out to members each quarter. The newsletter provides current information about business activities in India, members looking for business partners and profile of members, and other news items of interest to SIPA members. Jobs Email database: All SIPA members with email access can subscribe to this database. Members who are hiring managers in different companies are encouraged to post job openings to this group. This is a moderated list and postings will have to be submitted to SIPA for review. SIPA Message Board: The message board is meant primarily for networking within our members. If you have an business idea and would like to share that with fellow members, this might be a place to solicit interested people. These are the most obvious, tangible benefits. There are several benefits that arise simply by remaining connected to the network of professionals - the email messages, the SIPA web-site, information on conferences co-sponsored by SIPA etc. What does it cost? Not much. An annual membership at SIPA costs $20.00 for individuals. Joint membership (for you and your spouse) is available for $30.00. Non members are charged an entry fee of $5.00. Some events might cost more. For information on corporate membership, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. Mailing labels with current addresses of SIPA members is available for $200.00 to SIPA members. Where do I sign up? Click on this link and print out the resulting form. Join The SIPA Mailing List Join the SIPA mailing lists if you want receive email from SIPA letting you know about special announcements, information about future workshops and seminars and other information. Send email to [email protected], with the subject line of JOIN. The text in the message body is ignored. In addition to the main list, SIPA maintains the following lists. To join a specific list, send mail to [email protected] with the subject line of JOIN <listname>, where <listname> is one of the following - JOBS Join this list if you want to receive announcements on job postings in various companies in and around the Sillicon Valley. NOTE: This list is currently open to paid SIPA members only.
