You need PEDIGREE.

Its a hard pill, but there is neither shortage of good ideas nor is there=
a
shortage of good executions. Its getting the right audience - investors,
customers & employees - that is a challenge.

Look at that last article about epinions. In all that 5000 words, 5
sentences goes to publicopinion.com & amazon. Many answers to the questio=
ns
you're yet to ask, lies there.

When everyone flies at 500mph webspeed, the only thing that their congnit=
ive
processes can recognize is the road-signs. Fortunately, all is not grim -
that road sign comes in many forms - experience from Yahoo!, Stanford MBA=
,
McKinsey... or having connections to those road-signs who can recommend y=
ou.
You need a team.

Get a placard. Get a road-sign. Forget your idea for a moment.

Subject: help!

hello,

To get to the chase, I'm working as a consultant at an IT firm in
Bangalore( not a programmer. Background: Electrical Engineering and
Economics). Got an idea for a web based application which seems
promising. And more importantly , doesnt seem to be already implemented.
However, do not know how to proceed from here.Who do I speak to. How do I
make sure , I'm not left in the cold, having spoekn to somebody. VC? etc
etc.
These problems get compounded taking into account that I am based in
Bangalore and not California.
Any advice/assistance etc would be much appreciated.
Looking for advice
Kartik
