I am writing this email for the first time to this address. Please bear
with me if this email is "out of place" and advise me what to do.
We are launching an IP Telephony Company after finishing a "beta service
offering". We believe that we are entering the market at the right time
since telecom circuit switched infrastructure is now currently changing by
introduction of high quality IP telephony gateways which can match the
PSTN toll grade service. Further, as greenfield operators we have less
burden of legacy elements in our network.
The Company currently offers a Flat Rate Calling Card product under the
registered trademark of 'FLAT99' to about roughly 10,000 customers, using
its beta site in the Baltimore-Washington corridor and Metropolitan New
York City. The Company is in the process of establishing a nation wide
"flat rate IP-telephony long distance calling network". The Company
anticipates a 42 city US network with international access to be operat
ional by the fourth quarter of year 2000. Eventually we will be offering
advanced services such as : unified messaging, bundled internet, video /
audio conferencing , Multimedia services etc.
Currently we are trying to get seed capital of about $1-2 Million dollars
in our first round angel financing. We plan to take the company public
next month to see the market response. Our service offering has better
quality and some nice strategic advantages over Net2phone which did very
well on the market. We are going to look for 2nd round financing after
taking the company public so as to reduce "dilution of the company",
particularly after seeing Net2phone's phenomenal success. We are offering a
our pre-public stock at $2.50 a share and we will be opening the stock next
month on the NASDAQ (OTC) at $5. We are looking for help in this regard to
raise the seed capital.
